What it does: Cleans up temp files, internet history and more; must be run manually
How to update: Select 'check for updates (bottom right of the application window)
How to use: Launch application > Click 'Run Cleaner' (bottom right of the application window)
When to use: Once a week

Malwarebytes
|
|
|
What it does: Specifically targets 'malware' -type infections; must be run manually
How to update: Application will often prompt for update(s) upon launch; otherwise use 'Update' tab
How to use: Launch application > Select 'Perform full scan' > Click 'Scan'
When to use: Once a month (or as needed to address pop-ups/infections/etc)

What it does: Specifically targets 'spyware/adware' -type infections; must be run manually
How to update: Select 'Search for updates' > Highlight any US server > Click Continue > Click Download

When to use: Once a month (or as needed to address pop-ups/infections/etc)
